Advanced paving have just completed their 2nd project for me at the rear of my property. Access was difficult and everything having to be barrowed through the fence and through my Neighbours side access. I would like to pass my thanks onto John and the lads for a job well done and pass my recommendation on to anyone who has doubts about using them.

.I am a retired city and guild qualified mason pavier Working for the local authority when block paving first became popular – undertaking many large block paving resurfacing jobs .

Last year I wanted a 20 year old crazy paving patio replaced with block paving.

Advanced were working in my area, so I watched carefully as they undertook different driveways near me – I could not fault their work, in fact I was impressed with how quick the guys worked, leaving the site clean and tidy when finished each evening. Depending on the area they were in and out within a couple of days with the finished job looking great. The surface was level with edges neat and straight.

I priced up how much it would cost me to carry out the work myself having to hire skips in. Asking my sons to take time off work to assist etc. Then asked Johnny from Advanced and couple of other paving companies for a quote to carry out the work. The quote from Advanced was just a few hundred pound more than what I had priced, and at least a thousand pound less than the other companys. I didnt wan the hassle of completing the work myself and I gave John the go ahead to complete the work.

I was more than satisfied with the work they did for me last year so asked them back this year, 2015, to price up a larger area of block paving and replace a 100ft section of 6ft high boundary fence. Again the price I was given was very reasonable, again being lower than other quotes I had received.

The lads have just finished this work, working through heavy rain one day to keep on target. Taking only 4 days to complete. Each night before they left they made sure the site was clean and tidy. They didn’t use skips and left no piles of rubbish. Everything was put directly on the tipper and removed that night. Having again to go through my neighbours garden, they made sure he was happy every night.

Gaz, the gang leader is a perfectionist. If he is not happy with the final finish he won’t leave until its put right – one fence panel was sitting about 7mm higher than the next. Something my eye couldn’t really see with the post between panels but he insisted it needed putting right.

Johnny who you will meet in the first instance is a very fair man. He will advise you if you are unsure what to do, giving good sound advice and ideas. He has many years experience in his field of work. He makes several visits during the day checking everything is going the way you want it. There is no up front costs, only taking payment when you are happy with the finished job.

Would just like to thank John and his hard working team for transforming our garden into a beautiful space. All his ideas and planning proved to be perfect and all finished in less than 5 days. His team worked non-stop and were a pleasure to have around, friendly , polite respectful. Every night when they left they not only cleared up in our garden, they made sure that all the pavements were swept and cleared outside . our neighbours all commented how tidy they were. Also John came to check the progress throughout the day. So pleased that once we saw the finished work we decided to make our garden as maintenance free as possible .
Spoke to John about fake grass and he brought a couple of samples which were the most realistic we had looked at. We decided to go ahead with it and wow it looks so good even the dog loves it.

We had our very tatty drive replaced by “Advanced” recently. They were very efficient, worked hard, turned up at 8.00ish every morning, and cleaned and tidied every night before they went. The whole job was completed in 3 days, including putting in two fences, and the price charged was the price quoted. We are very pleased with the result and would recommend them to anyone.

As normal I was a little sceptical having my drive ‘ripped up’ and replaced with block paving, but I really didn’t need to worry. The advice received from John was second to none.

The phrase ‘outstanding service’ is not one I use often but I have to hand it to these guys, they were all very professional from start to finish. Every night, after a hard day’s work, they ensured the drive was safe, secure and left in a clean condition. The small issue I had was rectified immediately and the price charged was very reasonable.
